This article clearly argues what purpose-driven leadership is all about. It tells the history of leadership trends, and how two main schools have dominated the field of leadership studies in the last decades, being transformational and servant leadership. These two perspectives—transformational and servant—are not mutually exclusive. In fact, they necessarily complement each other.
It summarizes it greatly, in describing purpose-driven leadership as both an extraordinary will and humility, skills that combine the two schools into a purpose-driven leadership.
Hope you enjoy the reading, and how to start the process of purpose-driven leadership with yourself, then your colleagues and finally finding the connection to the overall purpose of the organisation.
