This article clearly argues what purpose-driven leadership is all about. It tells the history of leadership trends, and how two main schools have dominated the field of leadership studies in the last decades, being transformational and servant leadership. These two perspectives—transformational and servant—are not mutually exclusive. In fact, they necessarily complement each other.
